I need your input…

So I am doing a craft sale early in August. I don’t know where it’s at yet, so I’ll keep you posted. It’s going to be a collaboration thing with Heather, Charissa and Autumn.

There isn’t much time, and knitting takes time, as does crocheting, so I am thinking of whipping out some cute little purses and whatnot and stretching my sewing muscles a bit more than my knitting little fingers! Could be exciting, so I’ll keep you posted on the things that I am making, but also I’d love to get some input from you guys as to what cute little things I could make to sell that are easy and quick.

I’m going to give Grandma’s baby booties one more shot before I put the pattern away forever, but they’re mighty difficult and I can’t quite figure them out. Maybe some hats or socks, anyone else have any ideas? I was also thinking of selling some of my prints, like going and actually getting some of them framed or something, which could be kind of fun too, I don’t know that anyone would buy them, but it might be worth a shot.

I know it’s gunna be a close call

So this is Ben’s Birthday Blanket. It’s only two months late. Oops.

It’s really, really big, but he’s tall so it’s all good. I will get pictures of Charissa’s and Autumn’s birthday blankets soon.

Strawberry, strawberry, strawberry jampot

This blanket is actually really fun to work on. It’s something you can just do one small triangle at a time, but the only frustrating thing is that you need to bring all 4 skeins to do even just one triangle. But it’s still the most fun I’ve had crocheting a blanket. You make each triangle and then crochet the triangles together to make a hexagon, and then you connect the hexagons to make a large blanket. I haven’t started connecting my hexagons yet, but I will make sure that I keep everyone updated.

My table is a mess of yarn all the time!

This is the starting triangle. I really like the colors, nice and mellow

Once you add all the triangles together, this is what you get. I’m not entirely sure how to attach the rest together, but I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

**Edit** I remembered something else. We renamed this blanket because it had some dumb name, but it’s the Celtic Trinity blanket now! We saw it at the fair and tried to figure it out through the glass window, but Charissa was finally the one who tracked down the pattern.
