So here is a bit of that knitting catch-up.
A simple brown sweater for a cute little girl.
And another slouchy hat. No pictures of me modeling it.
I love this yarn. I love, love, love this yarn.
It’s so squishy and wonderful.
Also, a crocheted surprise for someone!
I also love making ripple blankets. This is my 3rd one (or 4th? Now I can’t remember) and it’s just as much fun to make as the first.
I’ve got a few more projects that are still being worked on, but should be ready to share later on this week.
Glad you’re feeling a bit better now!
At first glance, I thought the ripple blanket was a scarf. And it actually would be a fun scarf design. Also, if you made it with alternating white and pinkish brown it would look like bacon. Bacon scarf. Mmm….
Hmmm a bacon scarf…
what yarn did you sue for hat,and is that triple crochet for ripple blanket???
Love the yellow hat yarn, what is it?
Fabiola, it is double crochet. If you’d like to give it a try, it’s so much fun, here is the pattern: http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/neat-ripple-pattern.html
And the yarn is Knit Picks, City Tweed HW in Lemon Curd. it’s a bit of a pricier yarn than I normally go with, but it is SO nice and is just a delicious squishy feeling. If you’re making something small, like a hat, it’s definitely worth the price!
Yay and Yay! Can’t wait to get them. 🙂
