I casted on this morning! Gotten 11 rows so far. The hardest part about this sweater is taking the time to ball up the yarn, because it comes in a big circle, and you’ve got to wind it all up without getting it into a huge tangled mess. I failed and it took me about 45 minutes to get the last 15 yards or so out of a huge tangle.
And just cuz he’s the cutest thing ever, Ezra:
And also, way to go Leanne, keep on knitting! She’s got a beautiful scarf started, go take a look and give her some knitting-love.
Also, Erika’s started her own scarf, too. Hopefully she’ll take some pictures and let us see her work!
If anyone else out there has decided to start knitting, let me know! I’d love to see what you’re working on!
LOVE the color – and I’m sure the photo doesn’t even quite do it justice.
So you’re going to post daily progress updates, right?
Hey Ali! I’ve read your blog a bunch – linked from Leanne’s blog of course. π I’ve recently taken up knitting too. It’s quite addicting I must say! I’ve already done some baby booties for the new baby, a wool diaper soaker, I’ve started on some wool pants and now I’m going to get moving on a little hat! Ravelry is a bad, bad place…..
Amy! Nice to see you here! You’re so right, ravelry is my best dream and worst nightmare in one. I see SO many things I want to make, but not enough time or money to make all I want! Do you have pictures up of the knitting projects you’ve made?
I love love love the color
