So I haven’t been the most exciting blogger as of late, and for that I am sorry. Let’s face it, I’ve never been a good blogger. (I initially wrote that as ‘blooger’ and almost left it because it looks so funny) anyhow, but just a quick update, we’ve just been settling in to the house, getting more things hung up around the apartment, many trips to Bed, Bath and Beyond, spending ridiculous amounts of money at the supermarket (yikes.), getting caught in rainstorms in the country, and just generally having a great time.
Settling into my new job…ish. We’re still on the fence, but for now it’s alright. I’m not entirely sure that it is the place for me right now, it’s a little high stress and my stomach ulcers have decided to resurface (and I just don’t dig that) so we will see, but for now I am just excited about going home next weekend and FAMILY REUNION! (You’re all jealous, I know. Except.. I think that 3/4 of the people reading this blog will be there anyway. Oh well.) Can’t miss that orthodontis appointment on Monday morning, either.
Paul has been taking me on drives around the Palouse, seeing some of the sights. There are so many cool farms around this area! All the pictures in this post were from our excursion on Saturday to Uniontown and Colton, about 30 minutes away. We had lunch in a little corner saloon and shopped at some antique stores.
In love that in Uniontown the Fire Station, Library and Townhall are all in one building!
LOVE the pictures! I suppose using your “library voice” is challenging if the fire engines there make as much noise pulling out of the station as they do in my mom’s neighborhood. I can picture a group of old librarians, grey hair pulled back into tight buns, with horrified looks on their faces, every time there is another departure!
Can’t wait to see you next week!
Those are framable pictures! If Chuck had a barn yard theme I just might purchase some of those, though with the polka dots i don’t think it would suite his room. But I love the photos.
I’m glad you guys like the pictures. They were taken from a moving car! π Paul was driving, naturally.
I’m pretty sure the librarian and the fireman (and the mayor) was the same guy anyhow.
Ali didn’t reply, that was Paul.
ali, your blog is great titles or not!! Those pics are great too!! Looks like Idaho isn’t sooo bad. π
