Baby Giraffe

A giraffe hat for a little newborn!

No little newborn to model it on, but I think it turned out rather fun! I used the intarsia method for the spots.

And in case you were wondering what the inside of an intarsia knit hat is like….

And now I am off to run Saturday errands and hang out with my two favorite boys!

Booties

A pair of booties for baby Logan (my cousins baby!)

Josetta was modeling them so nicely for me. She crossed her legs and was being so cute and demure!

I really like the way they turned out!

Toddler Sophisticate

Made for a very good friend of mine.

An 18 month size Baby Sophisticate. I love this sweater. And I especially LOVE the buttons.

I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments and prayers regarding my last post. It’s been a rough few days, but every day is better and we are so thankful for all of you.

A Solemn Goodbye

It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our youngest child. Our baby was lost to miscarriage on 7/20/12. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time.

We will miss you, baby. For 12 weeks we were eagerly anticipating meeting you, but we will have to wait a little longer until we meet in heaven. We know you are in an infinitely better place and get to meet our Lord and Savior. We would have loved to know you in this life, but we rejoice knowing that we will get to meet you in the next.

Baby Boy Pompom Hat

And now, a little something for the boys!

The colors look really different when I used the flash…the colors are much more true to life in the second picture.

It’s up for grabs in my Etsy store, if you want it for your very own!

Blue Bonnet

A hat for a brand new tiny little guy. It’s too small for Sam, but hey, he’s the only model I’ve got right now!

I also made this hat for him, too.

Can’t wait to meet the new little guy!

Grey and White Beanie

The Grey and white beanie (complete with the yellow button) is up for sale on my Etsy shop if you want to claim if as your very own!

The yellow button got the most votes on the Facebook page (by a landslide!), so I thought I’d go with the majority on this one!

Help Me Choose!

I need some help from you guys. I can’t decide which button (or lack of) which looks best. Please vote in the comments!

I appreciate any and all input!

Stegosaurus Beanie III

Another custom stegosaurus beanie! This time for my good friend Roxy’s little dude!

Sam was doing his best dinosaur impression! I think it was pretty good.

I absolutely love knitting up these dinosaur hats. They are so fun and satisfying to knit up. They’re one of my absolute favorites! I am pretty sure I am going to need one for Sam for this fall. He definitely needs one!

Sweat it out.

Some custom sweat bands. There’s no limit to what people want to order, I guess.

Uh…forgive the angry face? Blame it on pregnancy hormones, I guess.

In other news, today Sam learned how to say “Uh oh”. So he throws his cup off his highchair and looks at me, grins and says “Uh oh!” and then yells for his dad to come pick it up. Smart kid. He also, very clearly, after dinner said “All done!” We were impressed.
