Shalom has been completed. (Well, it hasn’t been blocked yet, but it just came off the needles about 10 minutes ago)
The backside:
I love it, and it fits pretty well. The sleeves are a little looser than I would like, but that is alright.
It hangs a little crooked on me… I need to learn how to knit for people with scoliosis, apparently, but all in all I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.
It’s so comfy cozy. I can’t wait to cast on my next sweater!
you’re my hero.
Looks great! My sleeves turned out looser than I would have liked, too. I picked up ten stitches under the arm, and I think that was about ten too many! Someday I’d like to take the sleeves out and redo them, but with so many projects in queue, that will be a while. I actually haven’t blocked mine yet either. I wear it too much to give it up! π
…and that was me, in case you were wondering. π
Amazing!
Yeah, I’d definitly take out those 10 stitches! I also would have decreased more below the elbow… very baggy on me. But that’s also ok, it makes for a very squishy warm sweater. and hey, we still haven’t seen yours.
Oh wow! I love the red. You might actually like the little baggy-ness so you can wear it over things, that’s what I’ve liked. Gotta get blocking on mine though! It curls under in front. Love it.
Looks great! But I hafta ask: IS that an article of clothing, or is that a flowery tattoo on your back??
Wow, Hannah. Um, no it’s definitly a shirt that has a lacy back. Ha! But now that I look at it, it definitly looks like a tattoo!
FAntastic!!!
Way to go. Congrats!
Oh my word! I am so glad you responded to Hannah. I was having a hard time breathing there for a minute! Did only Hannah and I think that was a Tat??? Oh, The sweater is darn gorgeous!
I’m with the others I thought you were revealing your new tattoo— that is one convincing top!! Now to the sweater, it looks great and the color is great too. π
